Which is better for ME? Dental Hygiene OR Radiology Tech?

I went to college in 2002-2004 and got a Certificate in Dental Assisting. I've worked for 4 different dentists since then and have not had much success. I do not like to "God-complex" that most dentists have. I am a prompt, details and caring person. I work well under pressure and love anatomy. I even worked for an oral surgeon, but it seems his daughter (which was a lone office employee) wanted to make my life miserable so I left. I don't know whether I should pursue dental hygiene since I've got experience in the dental field or something that I find much more interesting, such as radiology tech. I feel that the variety of jobs/skills you acquire in the radiology field would make an interesting career also, because dentistry seems to become mundane. Any suggestions? Please only serious people. Thank.s

I would suggest radiology. I've met some radiology techs and they seem pretty happy. Plus it seems like they have more variety than a person in the dental field. Also, they are in demand and can frequently make a fair amount of money.
Reply:so before i answered your question i went to career builder and typed each job in their search enginer to see which one has more demand. so here is what i found:

for Radiology 65 pages of jobs

http://careerbuilder.com/Jobseeker/Jobs/...

for Dental Hygiene 33 pages of jobs:

http://careerbuilder.com/Jobseeker/Jobs/...

so by just looking at the differences, Radiology is more demand than dental Hygience. good luck
Reply:Radiologic technology is a great field, but just to warn you, you're going to still be dealing with the God complex with the radiologists and ordering physicians you will be dealing with.
Reply:If you haven't had much luck in the dentistry feild, i'd go back and get my radiology degree or w/e and be a radiology tech. It sounds like your more interested in that anyway.
