What are Dental Spa's and What Procedures are preformed?

I'm writing a paper for my dental assisting program and would like more info on dental spa's.

What are Dental Spa's and What Procedures are preformed?
Dental Spa's are a new trend in dentistry. They are a boutique style practice that offer such amenities as: massages, paraffin wax treatments, reflexology, coffee, tea, bottled water, baked goods, etc. They are a way to entice patients to come to a relaxing comfortable dental environment. They are usually a general dental practice, meaning that they practice all aspects of dentistry. There are many dental spas popping up all over the area, some even offer such things as Botox and other facial cosmetic procedures.
Reply:Oh Yes, the Dental Spa! A spa inspired twist to ease the anxiety and stress of dental visits. A trip to the dentist is something to look forward to. The reception area will be scented, nurses no longer dressed in dental scrubs you might find staff to be decked out in designer concierges and call you by first name.

All these massage services: Massage Therapy, Hot stone Therapy, Aroma therpy, Reiki Massage to reduce stress and anxiety, manicures and facials, cookies, maybe even wines and cheese, music, television and so much more. So lie back and get pampered!

Dental Procedures are mainly cosmetic dentistry, implants, whitening, etc.
