I looked at the web site and they sent me a electronic "brochure" but it didn't tell me anything about what classes you would take or the costs. Being that I work in Warren, RI you could say I am curious. I was speaking to a dental company rep recently and he was telling me about a program that was "questionable" and I am not sure if this is the one he was referring to. School is not mandatory for a job in assisting, though it would be good to have. I wish I could offer you more information about where to go or what to do. The only thing I can recommend is contacting the Rhode Island Board of Dentistry or the State Board of Professional Regulations. Ever think of hygiene school??? Hope that helps!
