Medical Assisting?

I am almost finished with dental assisting school but am having major doubts. While in school Ive been working for a medical center by my house. Ive spent the last year learning how things work and I would really like to stay there for the long run. The pay would be better and I would get benefits. I may or may not decide to go back to school for medical assisting but I want to hear from people who have gone themselves. Were you prepared? Is it worth it to you? If you are from Michigan, what school would you recommend?

Medical Assisting?
I' m not from Michigan but I went to Medical School and I love every day of my field. You need to gone and go back for medical assisting because the more education you have and experience the more you can get paid. I have been doing it for a year and half and I make $22 an hour. Yes i was prepared. Try to find a school with hands on teaching. That helps alot so you can better understand what you are doing.
