What are the salaries for Dental Assistants?
I not sure for Texas specifically... I would go to this site and search Dental Assistants. It will tell you the job outlook, earnings, working conditions, etc....

Reply:Since the pay scale is "DOUBLE STANDARD" know that whatever the rate is, you as a person of color will never receive nor make the highest pay rate in your trade. When you find out the amount being given, try asking your employer for a raise and ask for the exact amount of pay and believe me, they will beat around the bush and tell you that the company can't afford to pay you that amount.
