Cosmetology or dental assisting? which one should I go for???
Dental Assisting, much better working conditions plus you can make a good amount of money, it doesn't cost that much to get the degree and you can always pursue a career in dentistry and make the big bucks.

Reply:Im going for cosmetology something about having to put my hand in peoples mouth isnt for me.


Also depending on where youre going cosmetology is cheaper and faster.
Reply:Those are both really great fields. I wanted to be a dental assistant. Then I thought about all the nasty mouths that need cleaning. I also thought about cosmetology but i'd rather be an esthetican (people who wax haha)





Dental assistants make a good amount of money. You just have you committed to cleaning nasty gunk from peoples teeth. If you become a dental assistant, move your way up quickly to get a higher paying job





Cosmetologists make a great amount of money as well. But you have to build your clientele and be good at what you do and specializing in something is always great when it comes to cosmetology.

Reply:Follow your ♥, don't do it for the $, HIGHEST rate of suicide=Dentist....because they go in it 4 the money, then they have to live with people hating them(because they are the dentist) and not making as much, cosmo=very competitive.......choose what you love GOOD♥LUCK
Reply:depending upon your personality, If you are a people person (can deal with all sorts of people) I'd go with cosm.., why not get training in the trades (post secondary training). Indus tray is crying for trades personal, all trades, any age. We (as in Canada) are taking people from china, India , everywhere, just on their (tickets),real or otherwise.


If you have a trade you could make from 50 to 80 thousand (Canadian) a year, depending upon your experience. Unless you have to work because of monatry obligations, get a trade and ,support your huspan to take care of the kids. we have


women in the trades that have their mail parterners at home taking care of the kids whyle mom works.
